Ok, since she has already blurted it out, there's no pt hiding it anymore.
Yea, i was a mailbox for today.
Wait a minute...a what?! A mailman? A mailbox?!?!?!?!?
Yea a MAILBOX. I was a walking mailbox mascot for Singapore Post today. They had a roadshow and tt job tt i had to help Jiqing do was to be a mailbox.
Alright, u guys can stop laughing already. Fortunately no one was able to get hold of a pic of me in tt embarassing costume, or else i guess u buggers will laugh till tomorrow.
To get a better picture, go to ur nearest mailbox. Yea tt big white box where u mail ur letters out. Take a picture of tt, then superimpose a picture of my head on top of it. Add arms and legs to taste.
Personally, i felt tt it's not easy being a mailbox. (stop laughing) Cos firstly, the box-y shape doesnt allow my hands to touch each other. Yea felt kinda like a short-limbed fella. So u can imagine how difficult it is for me to distribute flyers, with one hand holding the flyer stack and the other hand stupidly trying to reach over to grab one. (i warn u again. Stop laughing)
Yea, the other thing is it's quite hot inside the box. Can't feel any wind for the 3 hrs tt i'm wearing it. Coupled with the fact tt i'm wearing jeans, yea it's a sauna inside. But thank goodness TDS has trained me to be the ultimate heat-resistant soldier i am, it's nothing compared to my juniors suffering right back in camp. Haha. Just have to stick it back to them.
But one good thing abt being a mailbox. Everyone seems to be more friendly to you. Everyone talks to you with a smile, and even show concern abt u. Yea, disarming mailbox, it's damn easy to break the ice. And of course distribute flyers.
Moral of the story: Mailboxes are cool, provided u are not one.
(I seriously wun mind anyone submitting their versions of Mailbox Wenchang. Yea if u need a headshot of me just pm me. I'd be glad to send one to u. And of course post ur wonderful creations.)
