Today i learnt a new song: Nothing Else Matters by Metallica. In record time mind you. 2 hrs was all i need to master this beautiful mat-rock piece. Now i'm officially mat-rockable! Nick, u shld try to play it. It's simple yet haunting. And it shld make u alot of new mat-rock friends in school. Then again, they'd all probably be able to play it since it's a crucial piece of music in their mat-rockpertoire!!

I saw 2 small flies humping on my table. Yea, right beneath my nose, while i'm surfing the net and travian-ing. Interesting, for i never tot flies needed to hump to pro-create. Guess, it doesnt matter if u are 2-legged, 4-legged, or 6-legged. We all need to hump. Too bad i spoiled their little party. I wonder if flies have dicks? Or something equivalent?

I'm getting clueless with some aspect of my studies and it's frustrating for me, since for subjects like maths and statistics, it's either u know it or u get a nice zero. Unlike those humanities subjects where u can bullshit your way thru (DANIEL SOH comes to mind), my modules really require you to know ur stuff. How to derive the formulas, how to use them, how to apply to a "real life" example. Like as if i will bother to figure out the volume of my water bottle. I'll gladly accept what the manufacturer says: 650ml.

I made the ultimate April Fool's joke of myself today. Really, just when u thought u can avoid all sorts of pranks on u, u have to do one on urself. Gist: I went to school today specially for a single tutorial session. And i was told the tutorial today was cancelled and postponed to tmr. GAH! I cannot be anymore doofus than this i hope. So i reached home 1 hr i left home. And Mom was wondering what kind of classes i am attending in NUS.

The current set of new songs i have in my iPod are not too inspiring. I find it hard to decide between the albums to listen. I ended up listening to Evanescence on my way home from NUS. Not too inspiring either, but at least 80% of the songs are familiar. Guess im not really in the mood to listen to new stuff lately.

Koyuki just sent me his latest sample "Battle at Hu Lao Gate". A song off the Dynasty Warriors PS game (Who dares face the mighty Lu Bu!) Sounds off rhythm, tone is very bad, and the "shred" lick is umm.... not shreddy at all. And yes, the Fruity Loops drum beat is shitos to the max. Loops are for hip-hoppers, real pros do it one by one! Anyways if anyone is really interested to find out how this track sounds, just tell me. I'll send it to you via msn or Yousendit (Nick).
