This is the current scoreline:
Mom - 2 months+

Shirui - 1 day

Audrey - 2 days

Nicholas - 2 weeks

Maybe my mom's right. Maybe it's not that easy after all. Maybe it's the final straw for her already. As a son, can you not understand that? The figures are glaring.

Moral of the story: If u dun have ur own pad, dun make any big decisions on your own. Cos u really can't afford it.

Anyways, Nic already has done all he can to help. I know he had. He's a real friend. After 5 yrs of limited contact, he's still willing to help. No questions asked. Where do you find someone like tt?

Tt's also the reason y i remember his phone number. If i remember your phone number by heart, you are a true friend.

Thank you Nic. I shan't bother your family anymore. Thanks for this 2 weeks.

Went for the jam on Sat. As expected, none of the drummers can play to my expectations. The keyboardist can't really play without her score, and even so, her score is like half of the song only. Bassist is not bad, can play, but can't really hear her. Fortunately Hanes is ard to salvage some keyboard parts.

And i think Johnson is a pretty decents singer now. If i have a band i wun mind him fronting. Still off-key once in a while, but otherwise pretty rCok.

Anyways, for any drummer to get into my good books, all they have to do is really just be able to play the stipulated songs the way they should be done. Rests at the right places, correct rhythms and a constant beat tt would be enough. How you want to fill in, is not my problem. How hard you want to hit, is also not my problem.

So Dorisa satisfied the 1st 2 criterion, while Jason satisfied the last one. Ben, my friend, is someone whom can do all 3. And he's just a normal guy who plays the drums alittle on the soft side. But it's something tt my brother and HY cannot take it. Which i cannot understand y. Feel can come in later, work on the rhythm first. What's the point of playing to haphazard drums, or drums tt goes on like a drum machine?

If the drummer can alter the rhythm in a very meaningful way tt doesnt diminish the main riff, by all means go ahead and try a remix or smthing. Otherwise, pls stick to the score.

This goes out to all aspiring drummers out there.

After tt jam, it further confirmed my belief tt most 8th grade pianists are incapable of jamming with a band. Cos they can't improvise, they can't appreciate the keyboard and it's sounds, and they have to stick to a score. Which leads me to wonder, grade 5 theory is not enough to empower a musician to be creative. What gives?

Personally i think theory makes the musician more creative, and i think i wun pass grade 1 theory probably. Guitar theory > piano theory? Or is there a difference in the first place? I think theory helps alot, in terms of giving ideas for chords, progressions, scales for soloing, inversions to break out of the usual chords, and so on.

So if u are a musician, work on theory as well. Technique gets u that far only.

Anyways apologies for all the music talk. I know people tend to scroll thru that. So that's a fuck u for u :)

Sch's weird so far. No tutorials to ballot for. No tutorials to do. I'm missing the rush tt comes with every sem.

Hmm.
