Ubin trip is sorta fun. Quite hot tho. Price of everything is going up, even the Ubinites feel tt they have to up their prices.
But sadly, our wages to do not rise as much as we'd like to offset this inflation. And even sadder is that most people are still continuing their wayward lifestyles.
Sometimes yes, i may be stingy. But i guess most of the time, i'm just trying to save as much money as i can, to have a realistic chance being able to marry Shirui in 2-3 years. People always ask when's my turn. They probably just have no clue how much money is involved in the entire process.
Oh well.
Troy Stetina's book is pretty good, cos it really hones in on a particular technique. I'm still at the legato section (din play much lately), but i can feel how much precision it takes to play legato well. Alot of the fine details just tend to get overlooked or covered up, especially when you play somewhat fast. But after working on just the left hand these few days, i can sense the improvement on my picking as well.
"Good left hand technique translates to good picking technique"
1 more month to go. Hope i can finish the book soon.
Workout Log:
Bike in Ubin ~ 2.5 hrs
8 x 320m interval runs in 1:10 + 1:10 rest in between.
Interval runs are SUPER shag. But it feels SUPER good after tt too. Runners high haha.
