Things i learnt after another BBQ:

There should be marker pens at all BBQs, just so that people can write their names on their cups and thus removing any confusion as to which cup is whose, and can also label certain 50/50 liquids like honey and butter etc. Ya dun wanna drink the wrong stuff do ya?

All meat stuff shld be poked before cooking. Like really poked. By Chang's poking algorithm, each chicken wing would roughly have about 100 pokes before they hit the grill last night. Ensures even cooking of the wing, and less chance of bloodiness.

Misconception about BBQ: We always think v v hard of a place where there's a bbq pit, and thus plan the bbq at that location. WRONG. The BBQ pit is at Carrefour, for 10 dollars, its quite the mobile and kickass one. 2 pits serves 10. Rather, we should think v v hard of a place where there's easy access to the toilet, and BBQ there.

Drinks: At least 1 litre per person. Dun gimme that "it's too much" bullshit. When it comes to fluids, it's never enough. Good to have mineral water on hand as well. Less gassy drinks = eat more.

Boiled vegetables in salt water is nice and easy. Alleviates the oilyness of the BBQ-ed food. Good to have. Carrot, brocolli and cauli are good chunky choices. Mushrooms and asparagus are good too. Can always use them and bbq with cheese ^^.

I only knew after yesterday that the ultimate aim in BBQing marshmellows is to make them as big as possible. I really thought it was to make them as brown as possible without chao-tar-ing.

I like BBQs, but only with people i know who wouldn't mind the bullshit i tend to say when i'm happy.
