Good Dog and Little Kitten

Pretty reasonable approach to life I suppose. I don't tend to trust/believe a lot of things. Everything is dangeroussss.

Win. Parliamentary Sci Tech Committee announces official inquiry into missing trial data.

The whole pharma industry is just pure bullshit. Selling drugs/supplements based on biased results of trials with missing data? From a statistician's point of view, this is fundamentally wrong, and signals that there is something morally wrong about the industry: it's more important for them to push out the new drug as soon as possible, than to verify that the drug actually works. And when that happens, u have doctors unwittingly prescribing useless drugs to patients who believe that it will make them feel better. Talk about a whole placebo chain reaction.

I'm usually skeptical about doctors. Not because they are not capable, but if they fail to display any sense of statistical understanding, then it means that they will accept any bullshit coming from pharma-backed trials and prescribe useless drugs to patients. When the doctor does not research intensively and critically, he/she has failed in his job somehow.

And they forgot one thing. Fair girls are hot.

Nick Newell Continues to Inspire

Just pure beast.
