Strange Things I've Seen 11 Dec 2012

Decided to collate the stuff i have read/seen. Hope i can keep this going on a daily basis, to serve as a collection of my thought process too. Now thinking about it, stuff on the internet will probably disappear within a few years depending on the backup policy. No wonder hardcopy is the way to go. Interesting. Anyway, here goes:

The key message here is taking responsibility for your own actions in life. Once you realise this, then it becomes much easier to act on your issues.

Kurt Vonnegut explains drama

"We are trying to make our life into a fairy tale." Ouch.

Open and Closed Torque Systems And the MWod Leopard Test

This is probably the reason why i can squat normally a million times, but struggle at the pistol. Intriguing, I shall start doing overhead squats once i reach 30 reps on the regular ones. Looks really tough tbh, but I'll chip at it 1 rep at a time.

I wanna be a leopard too.

What Would Iron Man Do?

Wow. Iron Man is even more awesome now. Shall get my shoulder checked. 2 awesome videos within the article too. Articles like this puts things into perspective.

Giving Credit To Juan Manuel Marquez

Now we know how the Pac-Man fell.

The Ultimate To-Do List

This is one to-do list that i would like to have. So far Workflowy has served its purpose pretty well, but it's still quite clunky due to the poor 3G infrastructure in SG.

It's quite amazing how Scott Adams can always come up with such ideas. I think when you are frustrated with a single problem enough, it generates sufficient creative energy to come up with such stuff.
