Happy New Year everyone. Hope you had a good time over the holiday period.

The Chicken Rice Fallacy

The truth is our generation is very sheltered, and we are very afraid of change. Even the simple act of buying a HDB shows a lot, when people say they must buy a flat that is near either of the parents. We are more routine that we think, and it is very unsettling to change our habits and thinking. In fact, i hypothesise that the more we have, the more we are attached to them, and therefore the less we are willing to change. For a man who has nothing, he will do anything to get something.

Then again, it's also very sad to be so flexible that it seems as if there's nothing that you would hold dear to. At least it would appear so to me.

Which Diet Plans Are Most Popular? Dieters Choose

I find it weird that Paleo is even considered a diet plan. It's just a way of eating, like say, vegetarian, or halal for that matter. Vegetarians will say "I don't eat meat", and it's not like they are on a diet. Muslims will say "I don't eat pork", and it's not like they are on a diet. Similarly, i'm paleo and i don't eat processed food and that's that. The weight/fat loss comes with the fact that i'm just putting so much less junk into my body compared to the average person. Initially, i was on a diet, in the "i wanna lose fat" sense. Now i'm just on a diet in the "this is the way i eat" sense, similar to vegetarian or halal. And yea, i eat so full every meal that it can hardly be considered a diet. Seriously.

Anyway, i wonder how many of the listed diets can a person say he's been eating the same diet for 20 yrs? Like 20 yrs of counting points/calories or prepacked meals? And i wonder how many of the dieters are actually hungry inside. Yo-yo syndrome waiting to happen seriously.

Keep it simple. Just stop eating rubbish, and u will not look like rubbish.
