Project Aon
Remember Lone Wolf? Or the game books where you are the hero and you flip to the page according to the choices you make in the story? Now you can relive that glory in full digital awesome-ness, and no more awkward page flipping + eye-closed pen pointing at the random number table.
Saw this a few years back, didn't realise that these guys are still at it. But the freeway warrior series is still unfinished. We shall see.

Challenge of the Magi
Arena of Death
Somebody brought these 2 paired gamebooks to school in P5. Was definitely great fun, but of course the reading period was only 30 minutes so there wasn't much action going on. Not to mention that we were probably too young to really understand the rules (at least i was quite clueless), but the level of depth and character customisation really left a deep impression in me. I mean, come on, i still remember these 18 years ago.

Quote: "It isn’t the perfect plan that you never do; it’s the ‘pretty good’ plan that you do consistently." I think this quote pretty sums up the entire article. Modder proves SimCity can run offline indefinitely
In this time and era, don't fuck around with IT people. They are way smarter than you think. And seriously speaking, why would they want to make a game without subscription always online? Are servers really that cheap to buy and maintain? I wonder if the additional sales due to DRM are sufficient enough to cover the costs of the servers and manpower. If not, just enable offline mode seriously.Even D3 has a more sustainable model due to the RMAH. At least they continue to get revenue after the game is sold. But SimCity?
