Human Intervention as a Competitive Advantage
This is so true. As a user, sometimes i appreciate the human touch, unless the UI is brilliantly designed. Then again, if you outsource the human touch to call-centres with funny accents, you might get different results. Speaking of which, every time that i call a company, the thing i wanted to do most is to speak to a CSO. Like immediately, not through 10 layers of phone menus. Ultimately, i will reach the option to speak to the CSO, but they will still ask "How may i help you sir?", like as if the options i chose previously wouldn't give them a slight clue. In that case, why bother with the phone menu at all?
