For about 2 hours, the water supply to the neighbourhood was somewhat cut. The water doesn't flow anymore. It just trickles. Everybody was pissed and grumpy. My family couldn't function well. Hapi sneaked out of the house and Dad left the door wide open while chasing the idiot.
This is when i realised that we are actually very lucky. It's not just water anymore. It's water pressure that we are concerned about.
That's when i also realised that we're all so weak in the mind that a simple problem in our lives can cause such immense inconvenience.
Slowly adding more licks to my scales gp5 file. It's fun to practice with the metronome speed increasing bit by bit until you cannot take it anymore. I've also taken a new found appreciation for playing at 60 bpm. It's soothing to the mind somehow.
Oh yea got back my midterm score. Not too shabby i guess. Tot i could try for full marks but i guess my graph sketching skills just sucks. Yea, must be the stupid graph. When u play too much guitar ur picking hand just cannot keep still and draw a nice smooth curve. It must go up and down at a very fast speed like a seismograph. And this is statistics, not earthquake studies. Pfft.
I find it hard to answer when someone asks me for their opinion of their song, cos seriously speaking, flaws are apparent and need not be said, technical skills are pointless to nitpick on, songwriting is left to personal taste. There's really nothing much to be said, just i like it or i dun.
So i only like the 2nd part of the song, song has to be tighter, sing better. Stuff you'd already know.
I'm done asking ppl about my songs. Either ways, i dun have much time to edit them. Probably stop living with other people's recognitions and just focus on your own well-constructed opinions. And hopefully you are able to pull off what your mind is thinking about. Being able to do what i want to do is probably more gratifying than being able to do what people think is nice.
Time to chill.
