I slept early yday, but i woke up damn late! Slept like 12 hrs la. But it's good, havent felt so refreshed in a while. Was raring to go for the day. Somewhat.

Was checking out portableapps.com and realised how cool it would be to be able to run apps off my iPod. So i can bring all my kickass apps to Shirui's horribly messed up com and fix for her without her whining about me installing random crap on her com. Roar!

It's funny how some people need help in starting a conversation with another person of the opposite sex? Maybe it really means the 2 of you are not meant to be? Having stuff to talk about is critical in building relationships, be it bullshit 90% of the time. Shirui knows. I bullshit all the time. :D

I realised my dedicated scales file is too saturated with different types of licks/riffs and stuff, so i split them nicely into 4 categories, namely:
- sequences (patterns to apply on a particular scale)
- licks (memorable runs from a guitar solo of a guitar god)
- rhythm and riffs (memorable challenging riffs like master of puppets DOWNSTROKED)
- sweeping (malmsteen anyone?)

So everytime i play i just probably pick 1 from each category and i'm done. Fun and efficient. It's also really fun now to hunt for segments in tabs and categorise them. I learnt this from John Petrucci, i'm amazed that he's also such a orderly freak like me. Must...rename...songs...properly.

Ok tml midterms. Wish me luck.

Workout Log:
3 x 5 shuttle runs
5 sets of:
- 50 pushups with ball
- 20 trunk twists
- 1:30 plank with ball
- 20 dead lifts
( i realised timed rests between exercises helps to get them done faster)
