This is currently my favourite song of the moment, one of the rare few songs that i bother with the lyrics:
I think the chorus is very well written:
What hurts the most
Was being so close
And having so much to say
And watching you walk away
And never knowing
What could have been
And not seeing that loving you
Is what I was tryin’ to do
I also like the fact that it's kinda cross-over between RnB and country. The mandolin the background just gets to me.
Speaking of songs, I'm working on something new. Easy listening feel good song as Johnson aptly described. Kinda funny in a way as it's poking fun at someone. Simply put, when it rains so bad, stupid ideas get into Chang's head.
Don't know why, but i like to write simpler songs lately. Guess age is getting to me.
Gotta have to make lotsa life decisions soon. House, money, wedding. Everything is plans plans plans. To be frank, i don't really have a concrete plan. I've yet started work, and i don't really have a good feel of money. How much is enough, how much is not enough. Finding out is one thing, knowing that i would actually be willing to spend that amount is another issue. Just have to take it as it comes.
Never knew there's so many sides to consider. But we'll work out it in the end right? :)
I'm loving my new pair of SS2G bball sneakers. Definitely comfy-er than the old one, no blisters yet, and feels just as lightweight. All for just 5 dollars more. Worthy "upgrade". I'm using the old pair as my room training shoe as i realised tt working out barefeet in the house will cause lotsa problems like slipping and random blisters on the soles. Yea you don't wanna know what i exercises i'm doing. Tough stuff.
Starting on a new shooting routine. I used to make like a 100 threes and a 100 twos like randomly all over the place, then i decided that it's too random and doesn't focus the shot, so i chose like 5 spots (baseline, wing, key) and make 20 from each spot. Now instead of that, i decide to make like 4 consecutive threes, and 6 consecutive twos from each spot, similar to what i was doing for free throws ( i make at least 10 consec). It's kinda tougher, cos it adds more pressure, and eliminates the random bullshit shots that just happen to go in. You actually have to make each shot count now. Twos are still ok, cos i'm already quite good with that (abt 70%?) but i'm struggling with threes. Yea hitting the three pointer slump again. I'll just have to work on it more. It just kinda sucks when the sky looks like it's going to rain on you, so u have to rush and try to finish it, and yet when u rush u miss. Gah.
The playoffs this year is very interesting. The East especially. I think the top seeds will be happy to play the Bulls and Sixers and try to avoid the Pistons. Never know when Rasheed will wake up and take over. I'd take Cleveland and Boston for the eastern finals, Lakers and probably Houston for western finals. But then again T-Mac has never made it past the first round, and now he's kinda out, maybe they have a chance.
Ok lost my train of thoughts. Bye
