Got lost in time for a moment just now. Thought Sunday has already passed by. Phew.
Forgot to log yday. Not that there was anything spectacular. Basically just blitzed thru the clinical trials helpsheet.
I realised making helpsheets are like condensing the bullshit from the notes. And for best results, use Double A paper and the signo 0.28 pens to write. And of course alot of patience and time.
Just read this very interesting Phoenix Suns off-season workout, with a vid attached to the article. It's great to see so much stability exercises in one vid. I want a giant gym ball, bosu and medicine balls! Balls galore!
Here's the link: Phoenix Suns Workout
Tried out their step up shoulder press exercise. Quite a good exercise to work on balance and strength, though it's kinda scary cos i felt tt i could fall anytime. Confidence and balance is key.
Hapi is getting better at the guessing game. But it's not like we'll let him lose right. He'll get the treat no matter what. Silly dog.

For about 2 hours, the water supply to the neighbourhood was somewhat cut. The water doesn't flow anymore. It just trickles. Everybody was pissed and grumpy. My family couldn't function well. Hapi sneaked out of the house and Dad left the door wide open while chasing the idiot.
This is when i realised that we are actually very lucky. It's not just water anymore. It's water pressure that we are concerned about.
That's when i also realised that we're all so weak in the mind that a simple problem in our lives can cause such immense inconvenience.
Slowly adding more licks to my scales gp5 file. It's fun to practice with the metronome speed increasing bit by bit until you cannot take it anymore. I've also taken a new found appreciation for playing at 60 bpm. It's soothing to the mind somehow.
Oh yea got back my midterm score. Not too shabby i guess. Tot i could try for full marks but i guess my graph sketching skills just sucks. Yea, must be the stupid graph. When u play too much guitar ur picking hand just cannot keep still and draw a nice smooth curve. It must go up and down at a very fast speed like a seismograph. And this is statistics, not earthquake studies. Pfft.
I find it hard to answer when someone asks me for their opinion of their song, cos seriously speaking, flaws are apparent and need not be said, technical skills are pointless to nitpick on, songwriting is left to personal taste. There's really nothing much to be said, just i like it or i dun.
So i only like the 2nd part of the song, song has to be tighter, sing better. Stuff you'd already know.
I'm done asking ppl about my songs. Either ways, i dun have much time to edit them. Probably stop living with other people's recognitions and just focus on your own well-constructed opinions. And hopefully you are able to pull off what your mind is thinking about. Being able to do what i want to do is probably more gratifying than being able to do what people think is nice.
Time to chill.

Essentially i only did 2 things today: Study and workout. And that filled up most of the day. 3 hrs + 4 hrs = 7 hrs. See, when u study, u can't do anything else. No rockstar!
Tried to start with threes instead of Js for the shootout today, and i realise it's better, cos after 100 Js, it's kinda tiring to toss another 50 threes. Rather, tossing 50 threes at the start isnt that tiring after all, and i could comfortably finish up the 100 Js afterwards.
Richard Hamilton's moving without the ball drill keeps going on in my head while shooting the Js. Hmm. No one to pass the ball to me tho : \
I learnt how to create nifty keyboard shortcuts from HERE. Now i can access my favourite stuff with keyboard shortcuts instead.
Digital Life introduced a TCP/IP optimizer program. I tried it, but i cant feel a difference yet. My torrents arent moving much faster either. Shrug. Probably keep it on for a while to see how it goes.
It's thursday! 5 more days to midterms. Gahhhhh.

To Johnson: Haha if it's true the gahmen shld really employ Krauser.
Blitz through my tutorials today, which is a good thing cos i'll have more time for my 2 tests and 2 projects left.
Ultimately, i still cannot find sufficient time to sit down and play some guitar proper. Probably been reading too much RSS. Maybe tml is a good time.
Had a angry dream just now. Dreamt that i was forced to wake up for dinner, to realise there's no dinner. All the food were finished. And yet i was woken up so late. I was supposed to have some major plans in the dream and it was thus ruined. And then i got pissed and started scolding everyone.
I think i'm very angsty deep inside. Hopefully i dun have to show it. Hmm.

Apparently there's been quite a bit of shake-ups in relationships this year. Today i just received yet another stunner from a good friend. Nice one lar i say. Wonder what about my other good friends. When's their turn?
I'm seriously happy when my friends get hitched with people i think are compatable for them. I'm also seriously happy when my friends break up with partners tt i think are not-compatible for them. How do i know? I actually dunno, it's just a vibe i get from seeing someone.
Intriguing question of the day: How does one put baby powder on his own back himself? Of course without messing up the whole or smthing. Hmm.
The rash really gets to me. Heat rashes it seems.
Ooh raining now. Still itchy tho. Gahhh
Butterfly effect is an intriguing show. Is there ever a perfect outcome to anything? How much of ourselves can we sacrifice for the betterment of other people? Hmm.
Read some DMC and crash.

Johnson found the DMC comic online. It's surprisingly close to the anime, or the other way round. Which means i can read the comic and forget abt the anime. And the live action movie is starring the L guy from Death Note! Should be damn good lar, since US and Hong Kong film makers want to remake it. It's already out in Japan, wonder if Singapore will bring it in. Too controversial tho, in a sense, but oh well we never know.
Planning to cut the junk i eat. Feeling lethargic during my runs. Probably fishball noodles to replace BCM for supper. Should be a good plan. More deadlifts too, helps my back a whole lot. Maybe incorporate in between my pushup sets. Maybe i should just incorporate the entire core routine with the pushups.
Spent half the day writing a somewhat metalcore song, abit Rise Against yet can be sung in melodic death metal style like In Flames. Then i realised i can't really pull it off, so i guess this thing is gonna be shelved like all the other half-assed pieces. But it's fun though, hard riffing for half the day, peppered with artificial harmonics here and there. Palm muting is about harmonics too ya know.
Thinking of using GP5's phrase trainer to practise. Gonna be really interesting. Wonder if your mind can differentiate between 1 bpm.
Caught Mandy Moore's A Walk To Remember with Shirui. Cheesy love story, but Mandy Moore somewhat shines through. I guess she's really all about that pleasant and nice girl package. Can bring home show mom. Should get some of her songs. Cheesy pop is good!
Shall read more DMC before i sleep. Tata.

I dun understand why people keep telling me to get out of the house, when i feel perfectly happy staying at home and doing the things i like to do. I really enjoy the simple things in life, like my wanton noodles, kopi peng, ice tub, runs, shootouts, time with Shirui. Somehow people with drastically more "exciting" lives feel less happier than me. Why?
I dun have to go out and get noticed lar. For what? People who dun know me well are people that are not worth my time. I can say i dun have a lot of people whom i can call "friends", but i can only handle so much lar. One JQ is probably more than enough at the moment.
To be frank, i dun really spend time trying to know new people. I rather work on the existing ones that i find interesting. Most of the time, people initiate conversation with me on MSN, not the other way around. I already get alot of attention which i dun really need.
Felt super feverish today, which was swiftly countered by 2 panadols. Amazing i could still work through the stupid mid term. LTW is all out to kill people again, bloody ass!
Somehow, i like midterms. It lets me understand where i stand so far in the course, and i can adjust my workrate accordingly. It also gives me a hint as to what the finals might be, so i can be more prepared. But of course midterms = extra work, so it's a hassle too. But, i'll do almost anything for grades, like super small font-ed helpsheets ^^.
Hot tip for helpsheets 2008: buy Mitsubishi Signo Ball 0.28 pens. Super fine for the super small words u need to write.
My new guitar student looks quite havoc. There might be some communication problems like "Don't you club? Don't you go out to get noticed?". I shall try to stick to guitar stuff as much as possible. Hmm.
Think i napped too much. Dun feel sleepy now. Pfft.

To whoever names is: obviously you haven't grasp the concept of me. Learn hard young jedi.
I kinda hate it when anonymous people comment. It's like sniping from the dark isnt it. Then again, in this world, fighting fair means you'll lose all the time. Doesnt matter if u fight like a pussy, as long as you win.
Bruce Lee said before, it's function over form. It's best to fight with a gun. At least it if you lose u can shoot yourself.
My teeth hurt bad today. Which in Shirui's terms = good cos the teeth are moving. But at the rate i'm breaking them, it doesn't seem like i'll be done soon. 1.5 yrs to go perhaps? Hmm.
It's funny that people can supposedly read through all my entries and then form an opinion of me. In essence, nobody knows the true me. I dun even know myself. I might be the next Krauser... Krauser III perhaps? Opinions form and change over time, behaviour changes over time. The only constant thing about me is that i'm still badass.
Maybe i can do a Krauser. Hmm. I do have a song somewhere along the lines...
Forgot to touch on Shirui's vintage digital keyboard. Sound wise probably very low quality, but it's jam packed with features. It's super fun to play with, and all the theory suddenly kicks in when you're looking for chords like 7ths. And it's true, soloing in C is like idiot-proof. It cannot go wrong no matter what intervals you try, as long as u stick to the white keys. And the black keys are major pentatonic for C# i think. Yea. Idiot proof.
I'm thinking of getting a program to turn my computer keyboard into a midi controller/keyboard, but i'm not sure if there's a simple idiot proof program out there like tt. Yea stupid people like me have to use idiot proof products, cos i can't get economics. But i'm sure given the demand from me, there must be something like that out there for dimwitted pple. Probably we're just too dumb to find it.

Pretty lazy day. Slept half the day away. No idea why i was so tired. Had plenty of funny weird dreams, which further adds on to the fatigue. Hate to dream, makes me feel so lethargic when i wake up. It's not like i'm dreaming of something wonderful. Usually it's just some random bullshit. Pfft.
Finally going for dental tomorrow. So damn grateful it's here. Fuck the weak braces, they should use some industrial strength glue this time.
For every action, there's a reaction, a consequence. Think through all possible scenarios before you act. Yes, it may be very taxing on the brain, but it would be even more taxing if something goes wrong and you have to clear up the mess.
This financial crisis make it seem like most of the banks/financial institutions involved are idiots. Which in that case, why bother holding on to their policies still? Cash in while you can. The commonly perceived idea is that you'll lose some of the money if you cash in now. But to me, money invested is already money lost. It's only how much you gain back at the end of the day. It's like gambling.
Which is more assuring to investors? Telling them that there is sufficient funds to go around and not to cash in their policies? Or telling them to cash in by all means, since it's their LOSS anyways. Apparently, cashing in means loss for the companies instead. That's why they are so afraid. If it's loss to investors, why would companies want to stop them?
For the better part of my life, i've yet known a company that has it's customers' financial well-being in mind. Every company is profit driven, so dun bullshit me.
Shitheads. Cash in while you can. Crash their company. They dun deserve to function in this world. So what if they've got their hands in every major sector, or has a huge presence in Asia? It's all bullshit.
Crash it. Send the world to depression. Everyone is too materialistic to begin with. We need some rich people to die so that people like me can ascend.
It seems like the current financial crisis is like another major rebalancing. He who's truely strong and intelligent will survive. They always say it will affect everyone, but is it truely everyone? I highly doubt so. There must be some people laughing away in the comfort of their homes. These must be the true geniuses.
Feel kinda itchy lately. Wonder what's causing these late night rashes.
People like to show that they can do it, they have done it. They want to tell the whole world about their achievements, their greatness. They thrive on other people's recognition. So when the supply of recognition is cut, their world just falls apart. Which is quite sad.
It's like telling people you're confident vs being confident yourself. It's different. People can tell.
Anyways, if you want something from me, please do keep me constantly updated on every little small details. I'd like to know everything. The last thing i want is to get assigned with stuff that i don't want. I'd prefer if everything is more open and there's room for negotiations.

Detroit Metal City is one fuck funny anime. Too bad there's only 4 episodes so far, and i dun really like to wait. Guess i'll slowly forget abt it until someone reminds me again.
If you have time for 1 anime, make DMC your choice. Worth every second.
Its funny how one can turn any normal song into a death metal one. Just reverse the lyrics' meanings and you're done.
The talk of teaching guitar arises again, but at least now i'm more or less mentally prepared. Still quite clueless as to what to teach pple, as everyone knows i dun have a syllabus, just fill in whatever the "student" needs at the moment. Guitar is such an idiot-proof instrument that just about anyone can play it decently within weeks. Just need practise and guidance, one which i can readily dispense.
Somehow i dun really like to give people the impression that i'm ripping them off, cos everything i "teach" can be easily learnt off the net. Have to come to terms with myself i guess. Maybe people do desperately need guitar help. Maybe people do want to get ripped off.
Shrug. Time to sleep :)

There hasnt been much happening lately. If i'm not in school, i'm mostly like at home doing work or playing games. If i'm not at home, mostly like i'm out shooting hoops or running. That's really about it.
Spent half a day re-writing my non-para notes. Organ-idling again i know, but i really cannot stand the notes being so messy.
Hmm got distracted. Pfft.

Things i learnt after another BBQ:
There should be marker pens at all BBQs, just so that people can write their names on their cups and thus removing any confusion as to which cup is whose, and can also label certain 50/50 liquids like honey and butter etc. Ya dun wanna drink the wrong stuff do ya?
All meat stuff shld be poked before cooking. Like really poked. By Chang's poking algorithm, each chicken wing would roughly have about 100 pokes before they hit the grill last night. Ensures even cooking of the wing, and less chance of bloodiness.
Misconception about BBQ: We always think v v hard of a place where there's a bbq pit, and thus plan the bbq at that location. WRONG. The BBQ pit is at Carrefour, for 10 dollars, its quite the mobile and kickass one. 2 pits serves 10. Rather, we should think v v hard of a place where there's easy access to the toilet, and BBQ there.
Drinks: At least 1 litre per person. Dun gimme that "it's too much" bullshit. When it comes to fluids, it's never enough. Good to have mineral water on hand as well. Less gassy drinks = eat more.
Boiled vegetables in salt water is nice and easy. Alleviates the oilyness of the BBQ-ed food. Good to have. Carrot, brocolli and cauli are good chunky choices. Mushrooms and asparagus are good too. Can always use them and bbq with cheese ^^.
I only knew after yesterday that the ultimate aim in BBQing marshmellows is to make them as big as possible. I really thought it was to make them as brown as possible without chao-tar-ing.
I like BBQs, but only with people i know who wouldn't mind the bullshit i tend to say when i'm happy.

To Johnson: Wth what?
Maybe Speed Dial isn't that much of a use after all. It just looks cool. But the awesome bar's functionality still trumps it anytime.
Found a good way to alleviate the pain in my Achilles tendon, which is the almighty ice tub. Starting to freeze bottles of water so that i can toss them into the tub to ice my ankles. Good stuff, really really shiok. Literally zone out for 15 minutes.
Raining now. Cool breeze. That probably explains the heat in the day.
A visit to the science centre makes one feel like a kid again. Trying out all the exhibits, exploring and be amazed by the little wonders of science. Omni theater is spectacular in a sense, but it's abit too close for my comfort. Feel giddy at times. And the show is kinda boring actually. They should put movies in there, or some 3D shit. That would be really cool.
I dun mind going again to see everything. Feels like a tourist.
Lazy day. Shall do my pushups tml.

I'd like to start 2 new "weird" habits in addition to the many i'm already practising now.
1 - Start using scrap paper to do my tutorials, instead of using fresh writing paper for them, unless it's something that has to be handed up. Reason being, my scrap paper tray is filling up faster than it's going down. And there's no way to deplete it other than using it as tutorial paper.
2 - Stretch my entire body once every day. Reason being that i'm starting to feel alot of nagging aches all over my body, and my achillies tendon seems to be acting up again. Increasing flexibility will hopefully reduce injuries.
Just received a mysterious phone call from a private number. Person said nothing, and i replied with a "eat shit". Hasn't called back yet, guess he really went to eat some.
Started abit on "Tell Me" take 2. But the drums somewhat irk me alittle. Timing problem i feel, sounds too lazy for me. Maybe splitting the drum track into 5 wasn't a very good idea. Or maybe i shouldn't be overreacting.
Ok i'm overreacting.
Hapi's leaving sperm stains everywhere he lies. Not very cool. Especially in my room. Especially when i've just cleaned it yesterday. Gahh.
Time for BCM.

I think i'm beginning to transform into a prof. Reason being that i'm starting to toss my notes all over my bed and my table. I've yet seen a stats prof who has a completely neat table everytime i visit one of them. Maybe this is a sign.
My SQC program is done. Fast simple and sweet. Totally kicked its ass within 3 hours. Now the challenge is to try and make it run faster. That would be tricky. At least i can try to streamline the code somewhat. Then again, anything extra might cock it up. Oh well.
Hot tip for relationships #20: to score points this Lantern festival, buy your partner's parents some nice snow-skin mooncakes with champagne truffles and ganache from Raffles Hotel. It's really delicious, though at $6 a pop, it's pretty steep too. Nonetheless a great dessert.
I witnessed 2 drastic reactions to this:
Pic of hot babe (click)
1 friend loved the girl so much tt he's gonna put her animated gif into his iPod so that he can see her everywhere he goes. And he's hopes to dream of her tonight.
Another friend thinks the girl is gesturing some BS and she's a bitch too and very very normal when compared to the jewel of his eye.
To me, It's just a picture. See, close, forget. Cute gestures tho. Shirui u should try :D
Tech geeks really need to get real. Not every girl is your racequeen/pornstar. If you're lucky to find one, WELL DONE.
I feel that i'm getting better in beating this inertia shit already. Just do it, stop waiting for the right moment. But of course this is only related to schoolwork so far. Better than nothing i guess, at least schoolwork is the most pressing now. Hopefully it extends to recording, finding jobs, attending talks, planning the marriage (oops)
Shall stop here. Awkward moment.

I've no idea why the Third Eye Blind songs are soooooooo loud in my iPod. Almost went deaf when the guitars came in.
Hapi is such a poor thing, still waiting for his owner to come home. So much so that i have to wait with him, or until he sleeps at least.
On relationships, how many of your best friends are actually people that you know very very well, and how many of them look vaguely photogenic? The same criteria should be used for choosing life-partners too, but seriously no one gets the point. Tits are everything, i know, but nowadays comestic surgery is so advanced...
Ideally, we'll want to have a good mix of both intellectual and sexual stimulation. But the former is something that you can only find out if you bother to befriend someone sincerely, which seldom happens.
Poor dog is asleep now.
My proof got through, and i'm thankful for that. But somehow i feel that my prof isn't very involved in what i'm doing, and i suspect he might be just skimming through what i've shown him and approving every single BS i submit.
Hapi dog is awake now. Owner's back, and he's forgotten about who's watching over all this while. Silly mutt.
Time to rest. Maybe go for some hoops tml. Exciting day ahead! Especially when there's programming to be done.

Ugh rain = no kopi treat.
Harold and Kumar is fuck lame. When you have a cyclops in a movie, it's as lame as it gets.
Next up, dude where's my car. We'll see if it's lamer.
Got quite a bit done today, which leaves me feeling quite empty right now. What do i want to do with this free time? Hmm, Swat sounds like a good idea, can play ard with my new gadg mav with mecha. Just fun to have a dog, be it real life or in virtual worlds.
Koyuki's been spreading my songs around somewhat, and i feel slightly overwhelmed by the sudden exposure, and by the fact tt they are good enough for someone to actually want to share it with another person. Thanks dude, appreciate it.
This is also probably the result of constantly spamming people with your shit until they're convinced that your shit's the real shit. Oh well, tt's how advertising works too.
Sch tml. Good night peeps.

Long day. Sentosa, vball, hapi, swim, picnic, vodka, chilli crab, chicken wings, sting ray.
Seriously speaking, i cannot tell the difference between good and bad hawker food. Unless it's really really bad. All hawker food seems to have this industry average, where the taste value probably wouldn't deviate much from the mean. To say stall A is better than stall B is like comparing tap water to boiled water. It's really more meaningful to compare different styles of cooking for the same dish. Like BBQ wings vs fried wings.
When it comes to sports, some guys are so competitive that they dun get it. You dun have to win all the time when playing with girls. Give pple a chance so that they can get into the game and feel good about playing. Probably score some ladies points after the game. Apparently it's hard-wired into their daft "i need to establish alpha-maleness" skulls.
Tired. Night.

I should sleep early on the nights before classes. Been dozing off in class abit too much for my liking, even though i'm still somewhat on track. Not a good thing to let this bad habit linger for too long. My mind will just explode someday. Headaches are a sign of things to come.
It's good to know someone who understands what you're blabbering about. Like why perfect pitch isn't that perfect after all, why you can never predict the future of stock market prices, why mathematical knowledge is important for a trading job, what MIDI is all about etc.
I think i speak in some mysterious language, so i'm glad to find similar aliens around.
I dun quite get why everyone's telling me to try new stuff, when i'm perfectly happy in my current situation. It's because one is not happy with one's current situation that one seeks to improve by looking for new alternative activities. But i'm perfectly happy with what i'm doing now.
So dun doubt what i'm doing, dun mock what i'm doing either. Cos i'm happier with myself than you are, which in my opinion makes you jealous of me? Good luck in finding the new you :)
I'm have a rational brain, so if something doesnt work out, i'll change, until i find the best solution for the moment. It's called optimization within constraints.
The problem with people today is, they live without understanding what are their constraints, which in turn leads them to feel unsatisfied and uncontent with their lives. Learn to live with what you cannot do at the moment, learn to explore with what you can do that the moment. Demanding like a little spoilt princess doesnt get you anywhere.
Didn't know that Hapi has such a active Dogbook account. And he posted tt he kinda likes me, cos i bring him for afternoon walks? Bullshit! If i dun bring him for walks, he'll shit at home. It's a necessity. And if i dun walk and tire him out totally, he'll come and hump me when he's bored. Stupid dog. :D
Like dog, like owner. He shreds his pee pad. I shred on my guitar. Similar habits ^^.
Karma caught up with me lately. Never insult fat people anymore, cos some day you'll have to work with them. They're nice actually, just that sometimes they do not have full awareness of their enormity, as such they become obstacles, both physical and visual. No grudges, i just like to make fun of people all the time.
Chillax day, run with the saucony is good. Apparently i tied my shoe too tightly the other day. Today's pretty comfortable. No pain or aches in the knees too. Guess i'll run with it more, and switch to the kayano once a week. And it's a bad idea to sing jay chou's songs while running. Will die.
Tml's picnic by the beach! Hope it doesnt rain. And hope it's not too hot either.

Pretty much mapped out the MIDI for "Tell Me" take 2. Strings, key shift, dynamics tweaking. Tabbed out some of the guitar parts as well, cos i tend to forget what has to played sometimes, like solos and key riffs. Now all i need is a free day to record.
Went for hoops, and sorta witnessed a catfight on the court. Kids. I know all of your have a cb, so dun have to proclaim it out so loudly. Seriously, want to fight just whack the face. Dun bother to shove, it's pointless and doesn't hurt. Call policeman he also dunno what to do. Most probably he's just out to chill and eat some snakes.
Threes today were much better. I feel the engagement of my back muscles, which leads me to think that i should work on my core group more. Stronger back, stronger shots, stronger me.
Hapi is afraid of my strat. It's funny to watch him run out of the room when i start riffing or playing some random shit. And he'll always look back to check if the funny sound has followed him. Timid bullshit.
And Matchbox 20 is not a blues band lar. Not every band tt uses pentatonic licks is blues. It's not the scale tt defines the band. It's their music.
Late. Night. Feel scratchy. Hapi's bugs perhaps.

To Chuan: Taka B1, the departmental store there. I think the sale is over though. Stupid JQ lar, last minute ask me to go. No time to take orders. Actually also nothing much to choose from lar, lucky to get a decent pair.
Cleared most of the stuff i needed to do today, which means a pretty easy day for tml. Can use the time to do some proving (again), or maybe just go for some hoops, or work on my guitar chops. Or maybe i can do some recording! Hmm ^^.
Speaking of which, i think some people feel that i'm a songwriting machine, churning out as and when i like, but in essence i'm not, and don't be too hard on yourself if you aren't, cos it's really hard to consistently have good ideas and chain these ideas to form 1 good song.
Which is why, good bands will always be good bands like RHCP and DT, and of course pple like Jay Chou. 1 album a year is seriously no joke. He's the master of the art of recycling. So good and subtle with it.
Sometimes it feels frustrating to not see results, but that's what the brick wall is for. To show you how much you really want it. Because of this, i knew i wasn't cut out to be a full-time musician. But at least i have a really fun hobby :)
Tried to re-sing some of my songs a full tone higher. Can hit the notes, and it requires more exertion, which might hopefully equate to more emotion. Maybe tt's what they mean by the singing voice, which is different from the speaking voice. Then again, i wouldn't know. Have to record and listen, cos what my brain perceives doesnt necessarily translates correctly to what my mouth produces. It's quite messed up inside me.
Somehow i became the designated mid-day dog walker, and i realised i'm not ready to give up part of my life for a dependent, which means i'm not ready to be a dad. I guess there's still quite a good bit for me to mature to. I think i'm still quite childish, which is why pple dun believe i'm already a year 4 student. But it's fun to just rant off anything and everything at times, and see people's disapproving reactions. I enjoy such observation moments.
I like to observe people btw. Like every single detail if possible. I'd like to know a person totally than 10 pple superficially. It just works for me this way. And i wouldn't have to remember so many people's minor details, cos i tend to mix them up. Speaking of which i should work on my spreadsheet for friends. Hmm, or should i not. Tricky.

Good night. Pats for gal who worked so hard and have to read my shit. Heh.

Yeah my proof got through, though he said i did something redundant. Nonetheless it's good to know that i'm one more step towards end of the project. Booya. Now to prove asymptotic normality...
Seriously, 99% of the world wouldn't bother if something is asymptotically normal or not.
I just figured out how to record the drums the right way already. Used to think it wasn't possible, but it's all because lazy me din bother to tweak BFD enough. Now that it's possible, drum headaches will hopefully be kept to a minimum. By separating each kit piece to it's own track, the possibilities of mixing and editing is endless. Coupled with Melodyne, it's gonna be kick ass.
Let's see, what shall i record next...Instrumetal? I gotta practise for that.
Actually i feel like revamping everything. Everytime i listen to my songs, I just feel that more could be done. And the sucky thing is it can't be just recorded over, everything has to be re-recorded. Maybe if i had a midi keyboard the situation wouldn't be so bad, but the midi interface technical mumbo jumbo just deters me to even think along that line.
And yea, i listen to my own songs ALOT. Narcissistic maybe? I'm always on the lookout for errors and ideas i guess. Hmm.
Totally zombied today. I need to get some rest.

Late at night...
I wonder why....
Those proofs we meant to prove...
never came through..
It's a love hate relationship when it comes to proofs. It sucks big time when you have totally no clue how to begin with, sucks big time you think you know something and you end up getting stuck, stucks bigger time when you think you've finally got it and it ends up being totally wrong and flawed, and it feels super good when you've finally get the desired result.
I think it's the same for everything.
The brick wall serves as a reminder as to how much you want something.
Hapi's a pretty good boy today. Didn't create any problems for anyone, except for his incessant salivating, which i think is due to the hot weather. Poor dog. Was extremely excited when Kai came home, zipping around the house uncontrollably. Literally had to tackle the mad fucker to calm it down slightly. Madness.
Bought myself a pair of Saucony Grid Shadow 9 for only $39 dollars. I'd say it's a steal, and it's supposedly the best series of running shoes for my feet (I'm alittle supinate btw). I wouldn't say it's comfortable to wear now cos it's brand new, but at least i'm comforted by the fact that my feet are better cushioned now. Give it a few days, and we'll see.
It's good to know that someone holds you in high regard. It reaffirms your beliefs that hey, at least i'm on right track. Keep on going.
Suddenly had some ideas for re-doing "Driven". Must be the Plainsunset i heard this morning from the OMS blog. The only problem is i can't sing the way it should be sung (same old issue), but we all know i still sing it anyways. We'll see, probably gotta pick up the strat and start to riff around alittle again. It's been a while since my fingertips touched nickel.
And i have a feeling someone is gonna ask me to teach some guitar. Mmmm better be prepared!

Hapi's back home, which means alot of doors will have to be closed. Kinda slight inconvenience for everybody, since he's such a nosey dog, but it's ok i guess. His joyfulness permeates through the house, and gets everybody to sit down together for some family time. I think it would be good if he continues to stay and keep my parents occupied, get them out of their sedentary lifestyle. But the call is not mine to make. Just a thought.
Visits are open to anybody. Just make a booking in advance ^^.
Went Comex on sat. Wasn't as packed as i thought, but of course we went real early to beat the rush. After much deliberation and coercing of the salesperson, i decided to just go with the HP P1005 laser printer. So far so good, nothing has cropped up yet. Print quality is tops, price is good.
Using mom's bargaining tactics were ineffective on that day, cos the pple there are really just concerned about sealing the deal and moving on to the next prospective one. Go in, say what you want, buy, leave, next. All the bargaining and what not really doesn't cut it for such situations. The salesguys there are just temps and probably are powerless to give u a further discount.
Never hurts to try though :\
Getting alittle distracted, reading stuff and blogging at the same time. Wanted to actually try blogging throughout the day, saving along the way so tt at the end of it all its one giant entry. But Jo's right, tt will take even more time. Guess it's better this way.
Tiring day. A tired dog is a good dog. A tired owner is a lazy owner.
